It is very aptly said that one can meet with soul satisfying results when a child who is in need of a warm and personal relationship is motivated by warmth and encouragement to work on their strengths in a conducive environment.

Navy Children School, Goa has always strived towards excellence in all spheres – scholastic and co-curricular activities. Here we believe in education for meaning, wholeness, compassion and justice.

Another academic year just passed us by with a plethora of activities and experience. It will be right therefore to say that we have witnessed a qualitative achievement that has been a result of dynamic partnership of parents, students, teachers and management.

My heartfelt congratulations go to all the students, incredibly committed teachers and the proud and esteemed parents.

I quote Swami Vivekananda  who said, ‘Arise awake and sleep not till the goal is reached.’ It is you dear students who can make a difference in your life and of those around you. May all your achievements transform you to become a means to restore dignity to the person, to give the undivided reasons for living and to lead each person towards fullness of life.

As I conclude, I pray and hope for a more empathetic environment around us where we can hope for a humane future and a harmonious society.

Dear Parents, students and well-wishers.

We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future – Franklin D. Roosevelt.

School is the formation ground where a nation builds its people and shapes its ideologies. School is a building with four walls and tomorrow inside it. The destiny of a man is shaped in the classroom, in fact, the quality of education in our schools shall determine the quality of our world tomorrow.

Education is the vehicle of knowledge, self-preservation and success. Education not only gives us a platform to succeed, but also the knowledge of social conduct, strength, character and self-respect. There is no way we can prepare tomorrow to suit our kid’s requirements, but we can surely modify our kids today, to prepare them for their tomorrow.

Here’s what, if you teach your child once, will remain as a legacy with them and beyond — Discipline is inevitable. Win with humility and lose with grace. Learn to be honest, no matter what the consequences. Be sensitive to the underprivileged. Believe in oneself and be optimistic about the world.

I am proud of this institution and would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone for their constant support, love and concern which encourages us to strive harder and soar higher in its pursuit of its motto – Excellence- Everywhere, Every time.

It gives me immense pride to share with our esteemed readers that, one of our primary tasks at Navy Children School, Goa is to make the kids realize that each one of them has a little genius within them and instill confidence within to believe in themselves. We strive to help our children understand the magnitude of their potential, cultivate it and kindle it, so that they blossom into wonderful human beings. We recognize that, these goals are best achieved when the school provides an environment in which teachers, parents, and staff develop as well as practice core values that benefit the academic, emotional and social needs of all children

This year we took up the challenge to instill the love of reading in our children. With technological growth at a record pace than ever before, our kids are mastering skills on iPads before they’re even out of diapers. We therefore realize that the importance to develop a love for reading in early stages of life, often correlates with a love for learning, a passion for lifelong reading, and so many other positive traits that ultimately leads to the empowerment essential for all round growth of an individual. The ‘Lit Week’ celebrations and book fairs organized in association with Scholastic and Navneet received a good response from all stakeholders and are evident testimonial fact for the same. ‘Swachhagraha’ activities were also taken up to encourage children for a positive behavioral change, by strengthening the culture of cleanliness.

We sincerely want to work together to make NCSGoa a happy place, which children love to attend, a place where parents believe their children are receiving enriched experiences, and a place where teachers express their joy of working with pride. The Mini Marathon – ‘Run for Unity’,‘SANGAM’ Exhibition and ‘Famil Fun Day’ were one of our maiden and unique attempts towards achieving our goals.

I am confident that a walk through the primary wing of our school, will certainly make you feel the excitement in the corridors and sense the wonder of discovery in each classroom. We welcome you to come and spend some of your valuable time with us, to experience for yourselves this unique energy, the spirit of adventure and the wonder of nurturing young minds.
